Living Societies Event Index
This collection records bounded social events that reveal household, institutional and local consequences without replacing general canon. The Syndicate records are deliberately ordinary and security-mediated; the Republic records are local disruptions, disputes and memories in a federal society. Lasting changes are named explicitly in the event record and in canon/event-impact-matrix.yml.

Collection boundary
The records are bounded to the stated dates and places. Temporary changes remain event facts. Enduring changes appear in a general source only when the event record identifies them and the impact matrix names the affected source.

Political costs and opposition
Small events can expose constitutional differences without becoming national crises. The Syndicate's local officers absorb pressure that cannot be openly contested; the Republic's councils, firms, unions, courts and media expose competing responsibilities. In both societies, what lasts politically is often the household memory of who answered, who waited and who paid.
