The SP-series uncrewed-aircraft engines remain SkyNet designs, but castings, fuel-system parts, bearings and control hardware come from qualified specialist suppliers. SkyNet performs final assembly and engine-airframe integration; this does not make every upstream process an internal capability.

Security and production

Work is divided into data compartments and physical production packages. Ordinary structures can be manufactured without access to mission software. Sensitive radio-frequency modules are programmed only in controlled facilities. Operational threat libraries and cryptographic material are loaded by authorised state organisations after equipment acceptance.

This separation reduces the consequence of espionage or a supplier compromise but complicates fault investigation. Engineers may need temporary, supervised access across several boundaries to determine whether a defect lies in hardware, installation, software or mission data.

Capacity and resilience

SkyNet can assemble small airframes faster than suppliers can deliver optical payloads, secure processors, radar modules and control terminals. Repairable mission modules and ground stations therefore receive priority during a surge. A bare air vehicle adds little capability without communications, trained crews and a supported sensor fit.

Nominal dual sourcing can conceal common dependencies on imported semiconductor equipment, optical crystals and rare-earth magnets. The company holds stocks and funds alternative parts, but a long interruption would force allocation among electronic-warfare repairs, new uncrewed aircraft, export support and civil systems.
