Veyrport northern-service household

Leena Veyr and her partner Soren rotate through weather, fisheries and airfield work in Veyrport. Their two children spend part of the year with Soren's mother in a heated flat near the school. The household uses a small owned home, seasonal service accommodation and frequent flights. Their week is governed by weather windows, school calls, fuel deliveries and the timing of a northern clinic appointment.

They depend on Veyrholm Fisheries, the air service, the school, the clinic, Northstar Outfitters and a community radio weather desk. Leena wants a permanent roster so the children can remain together; Soren values the higher pay and service identity of rotation. The current pressure is a delayed airfield upgrade that has made both work and medical travel unreliable. Their trajectory is either a move south for schooling or a campaign for a year-round northern-service settlement.
