Lattice Park is a planned western technology suburb inside the Blue Skies agglomeration. It contains laboratories, secure-software campuses, apartments around transit and older farm villages absorbed by growth.

Thirty-one per cent of residents are aged 20–39 and only 9% are over 65. There are thirty-eight wards and 930,000 households. Development and Federal Reform govern with 58 of 96 seats; Civic holds 21, Labour 12 and others 5. In 2024 Federal Reform led the federal vote with 29%, Development 27%, Civic 25%, Labour 11% and others 8%.

The workforce is 1.31 million and unemployment 3.1%. SkyNet Systems employs 88,000 locally, Lattice Compute 61,000, university and aerospace laboratories 97,000 and public transport 24,000. Median full-time pay is R$78,600 and household disposable income R$118,000. Rent is R$2,760, home price R$970,000, energy R$2,420 and transport R$152 for transit users or R$610 for car-dependent outer households.

Revenue is R$24.8bn, expenditure R$25.9bn, debt R$41bn and backlog R$9.8bn, chiefly schools and water connections. The municipality has 2,610 school sites, 29 hospitals or large clinics and a fast transit spine carrying 2.6 million weekday journeys. Urgent air and road freight connects Blue Skies Aeroport; data centres and laboratories draw 9.4 terawatt-hours a year. Heat, water and battery-fire risk are the principal environmental pressures.
